Proposed agenda:
1) Review wiki outline and assign responsibility for basic stub pages
Topics that appear in red on the wiki outline (http://bpel.xml.org/wiki) are
stub pages that don't have content yet. It's fine to launch the site with stub
pages, but I'm hoping we can put some content on the basic ones like "Features"
and "When to use BPEL"--even if it's just a few sentences that will encourage
other users to add more.
2) Consider adding wiki section for industry
Andrew suggested we add pages for specific industries - for instance WS-BPEL
for supply-chain management. ("Think of this as a crossing the chasm
strategy.") Should we create a section in the wiki for "BPEL in industry"? If
so, what pages should be there in addition to "Supply-chain management"?
3) Resources directory
I've updated the Resources directory (http://bpel.xml.org/resources) with links
to TC documents. When adding content to wiki pages, feel free to reference
these in a "See also:" section at the bottom of the page.
Are there any documents/links/info from any of the Subcommittee pages that we
should reference as well?
Please add links to your company's BPEL-related white papers, case studies,
slide presentations, recorded webinars, and other materials here.
4) Product and services directory
Please create listings for your company's BPEL products and/or services at
http://bpel.xml.org/products.
5) Launch date
Let's set a target date to publicly launch the site.
Thanks,
Carol
