[ Lists Home | Date Index | Thread Index ]

I think this is an excellent idea. Let's discuss at our meeting
tomorrow.

Subject: [dita-fa-edboard] DITA Testimonials

Would there be any value in starting a Testimonials page on the Focus
Area, inviting people to contribute brief (or lengthy)
statements of support for DITA? From a PR-standpoint, it would be great
for me to have a "quote bank" like this for editors and
analysts.

I realize we'll have product listings and case studies pages, but those
will be objective in tone. I'm thinking of some place where
we give people a place to really voice support for the standard (gush
even):

"IBM thinks DITA is the best thing since sliced bread. This is just the
solution the marketplace has been demanding. IBM uses DITA
through our company from our help desk to our product documentation.
DITA will change the way we do business in the next
millennium."
