Hello all,
I believe the way I understood everything was that Don and JoAnn were
responsible for writing the introduction paragraphs also. That doesn't
mean they are supposed to populate the rest of the knowledge base with
the existing content out there.
I think what we should do about the knowledge base is to divide up each
of the web sites listed below and the people assigned to these web sites
should be responsible for finding all articles, downloads,
presentations, etc. and categorizing them according to our navigation.
This would split up the work and this way we would also be working with
the most current versions of the content on the web.
Does this sound like a good suggestion?

My notes show Don for Toolkit, me for topic-oriented, and Don for DITA
Architecture and Pubs and Publishing. But I think these were for overall
assignments for the intros to these pages rather than final
responsibility.
We need to ask Jen and Bruce.
We have in our file server all the content that we originally outlined
for the KB. But I think this is still a big job of moving things over
and making certain we link to the originals since we have copies.
Jen, what do you think?
Could be populate one area this week?

Can we make a push for getting content on the KB pages before Thursday's
meeting? I went through our email archive, and I can't find
a message that lists who's responsible for each KB page. If one of you
has that, could you re-post it with an appeal to get content
up so we can all review?
Perhaps the navigation issues we're grappling with will be easier if we
have actual content on the pages.
