   new page on subject classification

[ Lists Home | Date Index | Thread Index ]

To support an upcoming discussion in the DITA TC, I created a page on subject classification (http://dita.xml.org/node/1290) and linked it in with pages for specialization, enhancements, and the DITA toolkit taxonomy specialization plug-in.

If any one has links by node number directly to the page on the DITA toolkit taxonomy specialization plug-in, I moved that content down a level, so the links will probably point to the general subject classification page. I'm pretty dubious about the freelinking mechanism since the freelink breaks if you change the title of the page.

Do we have tools to check what incoming links exist within the site to a given page? And to check for broken links that are outbound from a page or all pages?

Best wishes,

Bruce

Subject: [dita-fa-edboard] Related topic technique added to "add
content" page

I added information to the add content page for the DITA Wiki (http://dita.xml.org/dita-wiki-create) that suggests including "Broader topic", "Narrower topic", and "Related topic" as appropriate at the bottom of the content page.

This is intended to allow creators of wiki pages to connect their wiki pages to one another in a reasonably standard way.

Best wishes,

Bruce
