Hi Scott,
This sounds like a terrific idea.
I very much like the concept of different websites (and background
toolsets/CMS, etc.) contributing shared information via select web
services feeds between systems. I do this with my CMS Glossary
syndicated to a dozen CM community websites.
So if others approve the idea, I would like you to prototype the feed
and we can test it out.
I assume we could make more than one Google Alert (different keywords)
and then send them all to the one new email address which your script
would parse and turn around as an RSS feed to the DITA.xml.org and
OpenDocument.xml.org aggregators.
If we don't get a thumbs down from someone, please go ahead and send me
the feed URL when ready at ditamap.com..
