EDI, Electronic Commerce and the Web, 1-day workshop, London 18 November
1997

Please forgive the intrusion, UK-based technical training company
Technology Appraisals are putting together a 1-day workshop/conference on
EDI, E-Commerce and the Web in conjunction with the repeat of their XML
series of events (see: http://www.techapps.co.uk/)

They are looking for speakers at the event to present papers in (but not
limited to) the following areas:
- Why EDI needs the Internet
- Why the Internet needs EDI
- EDI /Web standards tools & techniques including: 
OBI, 
CommerceNet, 
XML/EDI
Interactive EDI
XML-Data, CDF and push technologies
Real-time vs. store and forward
00-EDI approaches
Who's making/going to make the standards and why
- EDI and the business web 
Legal issues
Security issues

Technology Appraisals pay a modest paper presentation fee and presenters
are entitled to attend the event free of charge.  If you are interested in
presenting a paper please send a brief summary plus a biography asap to:
