   RE: XML Link Questions

While we're on linking, I've got a simple question.

The first paragraph of section 3:
"This specification defines two types of linking elements. First, a simple
link, which is usually in-line and always one-directional, very like the HTML
A element."

The 'usually' has me confused. I can't stretch my brain around an out-of-line
simple link. Is this just an oddity of the current working draft, or do I
need to stretch my brain a bit further? Thanks in advance for all
suggestions.
