<!ELEMENT pizza (price, desc)>
<!ELEMENT price (#PCDATA)>
<!ELEMENT desc (#PCDATA)>

Ignorable whitespace is always allowed -- that's why it's useful for
an API to distinguish it from regular character content when there's a
DTD available.
