Yes (except that by allowing you to embed scripts, they sort of break the
purity of the DSSSL/grove model).

A programming language is a programming language. They only differ in what
they are optimized to represent and what particular performance
optimizations they allow. But Turing complete is Turing complete.

DSSSL is a programming language optimized for programming the association
of style with nodes in groves, but it can be used for any programming task,
including driving interactive 3-D viewers, if you want to make it do that
(which you very well might).
