The only problem I see with that is that this would make it difficult to
have a getStandalone() method.
I would prefer a setStandalone(int) with values:
static final int STANDALONE_DOCUMENT = -1;
static final int STANDALONE_NO = 0;
static final int STANDALONE_YES = 1;
