The article was co-written by Steve DeRose, so the XLink/XPointer
group is well aware of the issues raised.  I've also taken the paper
as a starting point for hypertext requirements for XSL, along with
some excellent work by Boris Moore and other members of the WG, but
the issues are fairly complex, and you shouldn't expect to see them
solved in the July '98 draft.
