I think this sums up much of what we are trying to do on this list. Without
commenting on the specific case [I haven't looked at the details] the
thrust is that however good a single XML solution developed in isolation
is, we must have interoperability if it's going to be universally used over
the wire. That sometimes happens with single solutions - but often we have
multiple ones. Then the problem has simply shifted from syntax to semantics.
