Thanks so much to Ron and Simon for pulling together the XSchema spec (and
to everyone who contributed to it, as well). When Simon first pushed the
idea, he was proposing to complete it by July 1. That it actually took as
long as it did reflects the care and thoroughness they took to get it right
through several review phases -- to say nothing of their determination to
include e.g. namespaces.
