hiya
i'm trying to find out more about the datatype urn and whether/how it can be
applied in dtds (and if so, what degree of control over the typing it
provides), or whether you need to use an xml schema mechanism (such as
xml-data or xschema) to implement strong typing of xml elements.
i've looked through all the documentation at w3c and a fair bit of other
stuff, and although there are references to
urn:uuid:C2F41010-65B3-11d1-A29F-00AA00C14882/ there doesn't appear to be a
definition of it anywhere, or any discussion of its usage.
if anyone could provide any pointers i'd be most grateful.
