Redix International Inc. recently announces a new XML/EDI tool that
converts any file (EDI or proprietary) to XML. The tool gives you
ability to define your own interface between your application
software and XML formats, regardless of whether your application
format is EDI based or proprietary.
Besides Any-to-XML, some other features of the XML/EDI Authoring
Tool include:
-- Validate input data/file (loop structure, data type, etc) before
constructing XML
-- Extract code definitions from EDI standard
-- User defined document type
-- User defined tag name
-- Wizard approach to help you build your conversion criteria
-- GUI to help you maintain your message definitions and
conversion criteria
Several examples are provided in this tool. These include X12,
EDIFACT, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act of 1996), Oracle ERP, and SAP. We also provide a tutorial that
guides you through the steps to interface with the XML/EDI
Authoring Tool.
