Which suggests that at some point a colossal renaming scheme is in order.
Maybe the XML spec itself needs namespaces; just imagine:
element:CDATA - for CDATA element content
attribute:CDATA - for CDATA attributes
section:CDATA - for CDATA marked sections
No, it wouldn't work well that way, but it would certainly be interesting...
