Entities.

Not the simple include-this-file or substitute-this-text-kind, but the 
I'm-going-to-exploit-every-possibility-and-combination-I-can-find kind.  In 
other words, anything where you need to read section 4.4 to figure it out. 
 Subtle, devious, frustrating.  Pick the pejorative of your choice.
