There's a story on Wired News - doesn't look like an April Fool's joke.

Basically, Invisible Worlds is setting up a mirror of the 40GB Securities
and Exchange Commission database of corporate files and using XML to manage
it.
Also mentioned, something similar for IETF RFCs.
