Can you describe the symptoms. I actually changed the association of "Open"
to XMLPad.exe and was still able to use the File|Open command IE5 to open a
"foo.xml" file. The only issue is that it doesn't have a filter for XML
files, so you have to select "All Files" in order to be able to see your XML
file. But this is regardless of the association. Do you want to create a
filter for XML files?
