One may also specify that an attribute is a number using the XML-Data schema
language, as implemented in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and described at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/xml/XMLGuide/schema-overview.asp and at
http://www.ltg.ed.ac.uk/~ht/XMLData-Reduced.htm.  For information on the
relation between this schema vocabulary and the W3C schemas activity, see
http://www.w3.org/XML/Activity.html .
