DSSSL indeed provides an indication of the close relationship between LISP
and markup processing. We have considered supporting it in our solutions
for several years, but our customer base is still far from ready for
advanced style languages.

We are working on bridging traditional web developers to get going on using
extensible markup. For the past years we have based our solutions on CSS to
keep it on an understandable level for non-programmers. Our applications
generate standard HTML pages based on XML and CSS, which has shown to be an
appropriate first step for the average web developer.
