Bluestone Software has an app designed to run on a Palm Pilot and exchanges
XML between the Palm and an XMLServer. It is an address book app. This may
be something of interest.

I would have thought that the "lite" building of expat would suffice
(the one that sacrifices size for speed) - but I don't have a full palm dev
kit built yet (I'm a bit scared to hack palm code for my own machine, when
it's now become vital to my life!) - so I haven't personally tried it. What
I'd be most interested in is XML for conduits, so you'd need an XML building
module (trivial to do) as well as something for parsing for bidirectional
communication. Let me know how you get on - and if there's anything I can do
to help (I've not yet hacked expat, so don't expect any deep knowledge from
me <g>).
