Wow! That's a very interesting analogy. I'm not entirely certain it
holds water (I'm a little off analogies this week after my legal-name
bogosity), but the LISP programmer in me likes it.
By the way, anyone else who actually gets this analogy (i.e. you've
touched LISP and haven't run away screaming) should take a look at
DSSSL and OpenJade for some of your XML processing needs -- you'll be
happier.
