>1) Is it possible to import a xml document from another?
The use of external general entities allows one document to "include" the
contents of another as if it were part of the including document.

In general, an XSL document is designed to be applied to all the documents
conforming to a particular document type, i.e. to a class of documents.
(By the way, the xml-l list is better for basic XML issues; xml-dev
concentrates on more advanced and theoretical stuff. See
http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/lists.html#XML-L for more on xml-l.)
