'Morning,

I am David Barnes, a postgrad at Imperial College, Computer Aided
Systems Engineering.

I work primarily in computational fluid dynamics,
but my interest in xml/xsl is to harness this technology for a specific
project where
people in their respective fields can share their knowledge to create
"user-guides"
for field new-comers. Obvious apps are academic
(tutorials/lectures/etc), but hopefully the concept extends to
discussion groups, dynamic footnoting/margin-noting in documentation.
Project parameters are: non-proprietary, web-based, os&browser
independent.

Thank you,

David
