Subject: RE: XML-DEV LIST NOW OPERATIONAL

Henry (& list members),
The unsubscribe policy for the list has been set to open meaning that any
list member can unsubscribe themselves from the list with no confirmation
required. The subscription policy has been set to open+confirm. For a new
subscriber to be added to the list, they must send email to xml-dev@xml.org
with the following in the BODY of the email (not in the subject): subscribe
xml-dev. Majordomo will then send a confirmation notice back to the email
address that is to be added. For the new subscription to take effect, the
new subscriber must respond to this confirmation notice by following the
instructions supplied in the email from majordomo.

As you mentioned, the list membership has been transferred, so existing
subscribers do not have to resubscribe to the list.

Thank you for your patience and help with this transition.
