Yes soon there will be. Im working on XIOP which is XML-RPC using OMG Corba
as base. Currently Im in the middle of writing on an open source web site but
its not
yet ready for prime time.
But since XML-RPC is a hot topic nowadays I though I would come out of the dark
and start to discuss this particular version of XML+HTTP=RPC.
Ive just put out a document describing a few points regarding XIOP with a
diagram
showing a number of XIOP uses cases.
<http://xiop.sourceforge.net/doc/xioprationale_1_2.html>
There is also an example file showing how messages "MAY" look, this before the
specification
have reached a stable state.
<http://xiop.sourceforge.net/doc/examples.txt>
The XIOP is indented to be an open source project so anyone is invited to
participate.
Currently Ill answer private email but later in Mars Ill open a mailing list for
interested parties.
Actually there is already one set up but I want to make the web site and
documentation more
readable before its time to go public.
Best Regards
Anders
