My posting was not intended to be an announcement, rather a letter of intent.
Thats why there is not so much info and details. However Im discussing XIOP
with the group behind one premier open source corba and looking at another
in preparation to do a proof of concept impl.
Otherwise Im working on support technology mainly in C since its easier to
integrate C with lang. such as perl, python, c++, etc. Actually OMG is on its
way to make a python mapping available, in addition to C, C++; Java, ADA.
To open the lid a little bit....
The first component is probably going to be an HTTP component which can
send/receive DOM trees together with the support functionality of dynamically
loading precompiled binary IDL for schema validation of incomming and outgoing
XIOP messages.
Another component may be a fast XIOP stream to/from IIOP stream conversion.
Finally to answer your question there will be support for STUB generation, both
for client and server, further down the line. When I cannot say.
