So, to summarize, if you want to have a serializer query up the processing
chain to access the properties and features of its event suppliers you can
either:
- Add your own custom methods which will not be recognized or usable by a
generic SAX chain assembly facility.
- Implement the Filter interface even though your class is not a Filter and
does not forward events.
