Many thanks for the input! I really enjoy reading the posts on this list,
and some of them are even starting to make sense. :^)
Section A of <http://www.imc.org/draft-murata-xml> talks about adding "+xml"
to MIME subtypes. Is there any reason they shouldn't be used for file
extensions as well? It's no problem on any OSs that I can think of
(except pre-98 versions of Windows, which we're not supporting).
