I am pleased to see this sort of announcement on XML-DEV, which helps build
the sense of community. Although some of us meet occasionally at XML
conferences there is also a lot of opportunity for other events like this.
I am not suggesting that we post every announcement of every XML function -
that would be a flood - but I think there is an opportunity for people in a
local area to meet on a continuing basis. Maybe a fluid list of potential
contacts could develop and be located on a home page some time... I would
certainly be interested in meeting other LondonUK-based members.
