Yes, I have it direct from Mike Gorman, who was the secretary of the ANSI
SQL subcommittee for years (still is, so far as I know, and on his own dime,
too!).  SQL is pronounced "Ess-Que-Ell', and does ***not*** stand for
anything any more, including "Structured Query Language"
