This probably doesn't help solve your particular problem, but here's what
I do:
pyx <file> | grep ^- | sed 's/-//' | grep -v '\\n' | spell
Doesn't solve the problem of fixing the spelling errors for you though.
(the above applies to "diction" and "style" too, which are lovely writers
tools from the writers workbench, now re-implemented by the FSF)
