Due to popular demand, I have created a project at Source Forge for
Schematron development. Source Forge bundles many useful facilities for
Open Source development, including news service, file service, CVS
version control, bug tracking, task tracking, mail-lists and
subprojects. You have to get a login, but registration is simple and
fast.
I have created a mail-list
schematron-love-in@lists.sourceforge.net
that we can use to talk to each other: I don't expect it will be very
high volume but anybody and everybody is welcome. (Any language is
fine.)
(Please wait a couple of hours before trying, thanks.) Schematron
developers and schema writers are the nominal target readership.
I will start to move over existing code from the current site
http://www.ascc.net/xml/resource/schematron/schematron.html
soon.
I anticipate that the project will be structured as a lot of
small subprojects, one per implementation. I will post to
this list when the move is complete. (The target is to get
everything up nicely by the end of the month.)
Anyone who has versions of Schematrons that they want to contribute,
please let me know. I am keen to start from a codebase unified to
the (latest version) of the new architecture.
I hope this site will be a positive step forward for helping
brainstorming and developing of alternative schema paradigms, and
to promote humanistic markup languages.
Cheers
Rick Jelliffe
