Just a remark. A "subject indicator", or "subject definition resource" - depending if you
consider the viewpoint of the publisher or the one of the user, e.g. topic map author -
can identify *any* kind of subject, be it real-world individual object, concept, notion
... whatever can be "reified" by a <topic> element in a topic map.
