It makes more sense to design for the mainstream and have the outliers
adapt for special cases than to do the opposite.
Luckily, the definition of web service is even more vague than the
definition of web, so if you want to include DNS or even DHCP, go ahead.
I wouldn't expect these to use SOAP anyhow.
