eNode, Inc. announces the availability of Xalt Object Realizer(tm), a new
kind of XML middleware for building and deploying rich web applications, and
achieving seamless Web-to-Desktop integration through the Java 2 Platform.
Xalt Object Realizer enables the construction of rich user interfaces for
web services that can be assembled, branded, and reconfigured at run time to
deliver applications that are finely tuned to meet users' needs.
At the heart of Xalt Object Realizer is Xalt Markup Language, a powerful and
flexible markup language for describing user interfaces of interactive web
applications ‹ much like HTML is a language for describing web pages.
User interface descriptions written in Java are frozen at compile time,
whether they are hand-coded, or generated by RAD tools. By realizing objects
from markup that may be generated at run time, Xalt Object Realizer brings
unprecedented dynamic behavior and personalization to Java applications.
Xalt Object Realizer can realize many kinds of objects, not just those
related to user interfaces. By wrapping SOAP messages or web service
operations into simple objects, and describing the user interface in Xalt
Markup Language, you can quickly assemble rich GUI clients for web services
that can be delivered through a web browser, and loaded by Xalt Object
Realizer on all platforms that support J2SE 1.3.1 or later and Java Web
Start 1.0.1 or later.
