No, this will use the type "Book".

Yes, this will use the type "Book1" so if you do:

<book xsi:type="Book1">
    <title>XYZ</title>
   <author>ABC</author>
   <author>DEF</author>
   <author>EDF</author>
</book>

you will receive a validation error.
