Yes please!

And at the same time take out of xpath core all the extra w3c schema
primitive types normalizedString, byte, etc etc etc, and get back to a
more sane set of primitive types. A w3c schema-specific function library
could map these types (appearing in the model as qname annotations) to
xpath types.
