[SNIP]
I read this after posting my "Who's afraid of the big bad bob" piece.
Good grief! Just when I thought I'd found the rumors of the MS Terror
laughable enough, here comes this amazing piece.
So MS and friends will rebuild the Internet on SOAP. And WS-Trans and
WS-Coord will be foundational technologies and not just curiousities for ERP
types. And an XML stack will emerge with the PSVI as the One Data Structure
to Rule them All, with convenient extensions for that binary data you've been
trying to find a home for.
Was this written on April 1st and just held up in the mail?
Wow. But then again, I've spent way too much time ROTFL at the Coming Menace
today, and not enough doing my real-world work. You know? That could all be
part of the plot.
