Thanks Bob, I'm aware of Globus :-)

Being a Zone Editor for dW, I've looked at Grid over the past few months.
Ken has highlighted a few web sites and I am aware of a number of
initiatives. Certainly from what I have read, there is plenty of interest
in Grid Computing (and plenty of hype too, just like a lot of other
technologies). My interest is purely from a developers' viewpoint. Globus
will help.

As for funding from IBM, yes you are probably correct :-)
