61 voted NO (do NOT add datatyping to the core of XML) and
5 voted YES (add datatyping to the core of XML)

Voting methodology:
This, of course, is not a scientific poll but only for fun. That means all
we get is hip-shot accuracy. Each vote cast has an associated IP address
stored with it so that I can verify that each vote came from a unique IP
address. Yes, I know people can submit multiple votes from multiple IP
addresses, but I am guessing, given the lack of gravity here, folks won't
bother.
