Quite fair.  Just to be clear that my reactions aren't pure technological, ah, 
mulishness, I have long advocated that RDF adopt the idea of scopes from TM.  
TM is fundamentally very sound, from what I can gather, but I also gather that 
in many ways it's overkill.

There's another feature of TM I've thought RDF should pick up, but I forget it 
now.

Also, I think that owl:sameIndividualAs might have been inspired by TM, since 
the last time I remember discussion of standard assertion of the equivalence 
of individuals, the key players were not keen on the idea.
