Many will.  

1.  They don't read the labels on the food they eat. 
One doesn't expect them to read the message that 
pops up on install.  Some will, others will hear 
about it but..

2.  The reward determines the likelihood of 
accepting risk.  KaZAAA means "get content you 
really really want but don't want to pay for" 
and they go from there.

The old saying goes, "you can't cheat an honest 
man". The follow on is "choose the bait well". The 
trend where free access to content  
has become the portal to accepting unsolicited 
importuning is not new.  The pool scene from 
"The Magic Christian" comes to mind.

Back to CSS and XSLT:

As much as I dislike it, the case for PDF keeps 
getting stronger on the authoring side.
