   SV: [xml-dev] ms config

[ Lists Home | Date Index | Thread Index ]

Try changing
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xml" href="menu_test.xsl"?>
to
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="menu_test.xsl"?>

Should work (it did the job for me anyway)

/Marcus

apologies if this is well covered in a thread, but a couple of hours of
googling didn't give me the answer.... so hopefully someone here knows
off the top of their head.

i'm not big on microsoft technologies, so i don't have a windows desktop
in house, but i have to deliver to a lot of windows users. not normally
a problem, most things work.

but i can't seem to get explorer to directly interpret an xml/xsl
combination like mozilla does.

ie http://www.cadetshoes.com.au/menu_test.xml

makes some menu buttons in mozilla, but an xml dom tree in explorer

is this a config issue with explorer, or do i have to write javascript?

i know i can use a cgi script to do this, but for a bigger project i'm
working on, the caching of xslt info will help to reduce network
traffic, and i presume speed up the process as well

thanks

rick
