[ Lists Home | Date Index | Thread Index ]

NetworkedPlanet is pleased to announce the imminent availability of
TMCore05, a
Topic Map Engine for the .NET platform. TMCore05 has been designed as a
toolkit
to enable developers on the Microsoft .NET platform to create scalable
topic map
applications with robust persistent storage and full support for a
multi-user
environment. The engine supports the full range of the ISO standard
Topic Maps
specification and also provides a flexible web services API and
easily-processed
XML syntax to enable rapid application development and flexible
deployment in a
.NET environment.

The engine makes use of Microsoft SQLServer 2000 to provide scalable,
persistent
storage and allow multiple instances to simultaneously access the same
data
store.

Developers can use a full in-process API which provides direct
programmatic
access to every aspect of the topic map structure as well as high-level
indexing
and convenience functions. In addition, the Web Services API provides
operations
to query and update topic maps allowing rapid system integration and
cross-platform accessibility.

TMCore05 is available now. For more product details please see the
