I have just downloaded, installed and tested the upgrade and I can tell
you've made my day!
oXygen is the first graphical schema editor which is at the same time:
* conformant to the specs
* multi-platform
* multi-schemas
Absolutely needing these 3 bullet points, I had to live with text
editing my schemas which wasn't too much of a problem for me personally
but was really blocking for a number of my customers who are not schema
gurus...
What I have seen of your graphical schema editor is enough to convince
me that oXygen is becoming a good fit for these customers.
This first version seems to be really usable even though it's lacking
some minor features that could be useful, such as:
* Direct support of the RNG's compact syntax.
* In the logical schema view, that would be handy to be able to go
to the definition in the text view when you click on a pattern
like this is the case in the complete schema view (BTW,
providing these two complementary views is a very good idea).
* The graphical view could be more than "read only".
Thanks for this great tool!
Eric
PS: what about supporting XSLTUnit in a next version? I would be happy
to assist if you need any help!
