ANN: Syntext Serna WYSIWYG XML Editor V2.4.0, Enterprise Edition
This version introduces Syntext Serna Enterprise Edition with the
functional profile best suited for enterprise XML authoring. The list
of features that are available only in the Enterprise Edition
includes:
- Python API
Ability to create Serna plugins in Python. Also, PyQt commercial
license holders will be able to develop Serna extensions with PyQt.
- WebDAV Support
Easy integration with XML databases and content management systems
- Redlining
A tool for collaborative authoring: mark and annotate your
XML document.
- Enterprise Configuration Settings
Ability to easily deploy customizations of Serna for your
Enterprise workflow.
The list of new features for version 2.4 includes:
- Documentation: Serna GUI Item Reference Guide & Serna API Design Notes
- Basic MathML support. Serna can now render MathML inline content.
- XML 2005 IDEAlliance Proceedings V1.3 are available in Serna
out-of-the-box.
- Basic functionality of table plugin for DITA.
- Serna now uses anti-aliased fonts on Linux.
