Have you looked at XMLBeans? Given a/multiple schema it will turn it/them
into Java objects. A truly superb tool indeed! If you find schema files
difficult to read, you could run it through XMLBeans and get an object
hierarchy, then load it into an IDE like IDEA and use it's navigation
capabilities to look at the schema as Java classes.
Using such classes, you can read/write xml files coforming to that schema.
