Having problems implementing the following feature in one of my C# (.NET)
applications:
I need to be able to search an XML document for a user-specified string.
Namely i want to be able to get an XmlNodeList back of all nodes that have
an attribute value containing the specified string.
I.e. i want to essentially search the concatination of the attribute values
of a node (excluding its child nodes) and search that for the given string.
Ive tried using xpath, with xpath expressions such as:
//*[contains(string(@*), "SomeString")]
but this does not yield the desired results. (e.g. the above expression only
returns a small subset of all the results).
any help would be greatly appreciated
